Therapy with San

Everyone is welcome: queer 🌈, neurodivergent🧠, non-conventional relationships ❤️

01

Getting to know you

In our first two sessions, I’ll listen to your story — what’s hard, what you want, and what you think is going on. At the end of the second one, I’ll share what I see. Sometimes that includes a diagnosis, sometimes simply a clearer picture.

02

Choosing a direction

Together we pick up to three goals and a plan to reach them. You can work in blocks of 6 to 12 sessions or go session by session — whatever fits your life.

03

Doing the work, and closing well

We try things in and between sessions and adjust as we go. When it feels right, we look back at what changed and decide together if you’re ready to go on your own.

What we can work on

·

On your own

Anxiety and panic · low mood · burnout · loneliness · grief and life crises · identity, sexuality and self-acceptance · life as a migrant

·

In a relationship

Communication and conflict · rebuilding trust · intercultural relationships · opening or closing a relationship · separation · big life decisions

How I work

·

My approach

I’m trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and the humanistic approach — so we look at the patterns in how you think, feel and act, always starting from your own experience. When it helps, I bring in mindfulness, emotion-focused and systemic techniques.

·

Integration

What matters most to me is integration — helping the parts of you that are at war with each other find a way to live together.

·

What you can expect from me

Respect and real curiosity
Honesty, offered gently
Tools you can use on your own
Company on the way

·

What I’ll stay away from

Judging you or your choices
Telling you what’s right or wrong
Assuming I know your life better than you
Making you depend on me

About couples sessions

·

With me, couples therapy and couples coaching work the same way. The name changes depending on where you live — for people in Germany and Mexico it’s called therapy, for everyone else it’s coaching. Every shape of relationship is welcome: monogamous, open, polyamorous, chosen families.

Good to know

·

Who can book

Therapy is for people living in Germany or Mexico. Living somewhere else? Coaching is open to everyone.

·

Where and how long

In my practice in Berlin-Mitte (how to get there), or online. Sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples and families.

·

Insurance

Private or supplementary insurance may cover individual therapy — your invoice includes the diagnosis. Couples sessions usually aren’t covered. Therapy costs can often be deducted from your taxes.
